Mine Designs Event Lab is a cozy 20 sqm studio created for 18 people who want something more personal than a standard meeting room.
With brick walls, a large table, dimmable lighting, fast internet, a TV screen and a warm interior atmosphere, the space is ideal for small events that need to feel focused, intimate and memorable.

Mine Designs Event Lab is designed to feel calm, inspiring and welcoming. It is suitable for creative workshops, private talks, small brand meetings, planning sessions, community gatherings and intimate events where atmosphere matters as much as function.
The space is located in the heart of Frederiksberg, Copenhagen, only a 4 minute walk from Frederiksberg Metro Station, with direct access to the M1, M2 and M3 metro lines and 20 meters from Falkoner Alle. This makes it easy for guests to arrive from different parts of Copenhagen without needing a car.
The studio is also surrounded by cafés, shops and local city life. It feels central and accessible but still calm enough for people to focus, talk and actually enjoy being there.
The architecture of the lab: A lower ground floor space with light, air and character
Mine Designs Event Lab is not a typical lower ground floor space. It has large windows, a lovely garden view and a mechanical ventilation system with continuous fresh air supply, helping the room stay comfortable even when the windows are closed.
The rustic brick walls give the room character and warmth, while quietly reminding us that we are part of Copenhagen’s layered architectural history.
The lighting system adds a soft hygge atmosphere to the space. The light above the workshop table is designed by Studio F. A. Porsche for LIGHT-POINT and can be adjusted from warm 2700K light to clear 5000K working light, making the room suitable for both cozy conversations and focused workshops.
The color palette is designed to support creative energy without overwhelming the space. It feels warm, lively and inspiring while still staying calm enough for focused conversations, presentations and group work.
What's Included?
• 20 sqm Event Space
A warm and carefully considered studio created for workshops, meetings and intimate creative events. Small enough to feel intimate, designed well enough to not feel small :)
• Large & Extendable Workshop Table
The central table is already spacious at 210 x 105 cm and can be extended up to 290 cm, giving extra room for workshops, group work, presentations, materials and creative sessions. It grows together with your audience.
• Flexible Seating Arrangement
The space can be arranged depending on your event format, whether you need a relaxed setup, a table focused layout or extra seating. You can see the available layouts in the room setup section. Trust me, I'm an architect.
• Large Windows, Garden View and Ventilation
Natural light, a lovely garden view and continuous fresh air supply through integrated mechanical ventilation help the room feel open, calm and comfortable, even when the windows are closed. No need to annoy that one person who is always cold. :)
• Dimmable Lighting System
Designed by Studio F.A. Porsche, the light above the workshop table can shift from warm 2700K ambient light to clear 5000K working light, supporting both cozy conversations and focused workshops. All the lamps are from LIGHT-POINT.
• Fast Internet and 55" TV Screen
The studio is equipped for online elements, presentations and shared visual content. You can connect your laptop to the TV with HDMI and use the screen during your event.
• Magnetic Whiteboard and Flip Chart
A magnetic whiteboard with a flip chart is available for brainstorming, planning, teaching, sketching ideas and keeping the conversation visible during workshops.
• Coffee, Tea and Water Included
Hydration is vital. We got you! Water and Pukka tea are included without limit, while organic filter coffee is prepared before arrival and includes one cup per guest. Dairy and oat milk are also available. Unlimited coffee option is available as an add-on.
• Cold Beverage Fridge Included
A cold beverage fridge will be available during your session, so guests can also enjoy chilled drinks throughout the event.
• Light snacks included
Glucose is necessary for our brains to function. Cookies, granola bars, nuts, chips and fruit will be available so the room feels welcoming from the start. Tiny snacks, big ideas!
• Tableware Included
Shared snack tableware is ceramic, while personal tableware may be disposable to avoid accidents during workshops and events. We love fancy stuff but we don't like panic.
• Access to Shared WC and Kitchen
Guests have access to a shared WC and kitchen during the booking. The facilities are only shared with the neighbouring shop and are usually calm, but guests are expected to use them respectfully and leave them as they found them. We love our neighbours and we plan to keep things clean between us. Literally.
• Personal Access Assistance at Arrival
I personally help with access so your arrival feels smooth, clear and easy and Mine will be available in her office if help is needed. No tiny metal box mystery.
• Safety Cameras
The space has safety cameras for security. They record video only, with no audio recording. Big Brother is not interested in your workshops or meetings.
Choose the Setup That Fits Your Event
The studio can be arranged in different ways depending on the type of gathering. Whether you are hosting a relaxed workshop, a focused meeting or a fuller event, the layout can be adapted to support the flow of the day.
-Relaxed setup, up to 14 people
This setup is ideal for workshops, talks, group discussions and intimate events where comfort matters. Guests can sit around the main table, on chairs or on benches depending on the activity.
Best for:
Workshops, talks, community gatherings, creative sessions and relaxed brand events.
-Table focused setup, upto 10 people
This setup is best when everyone needs to sit around the table and actively work together. It is suitable for meetings, planning sessions, strategy days and workshops where people need space for laptops, notebooks or materials.
Best for:
Meetings, team sessions, planning days, design workshops and focused group work.
-Full house setup, up to 18 people
This setup uses the room more fully with chairs and benches. It works for events where guests do not all need the same amount of table space at the same time.
Best for:
Talks, presentations, small launches, community events and intimate gatherings with a fuller room.

Larger group setup
For events with more than 14 guests, the room needs to be rearranged according to your needs.
Unlimited coffee
For longer workshops, meetings and idea-heavy sessions, you can add unlimited organic filter coffee. Recommended if your guests are the kind of people who say “one more cup of coffee before I go".
Pastry package
A good option for morning meetings, workshops or events where you want something nicer than basic snacks we offer.
Pizza package
Suitable for longer workshops, casual lunch meetings and creative gatherings where people stay for several hours.

A few practical details before booking
Mine Designs Event Lab is created for calm, focused and creative gatherings. To protect the space and keep the experience pleasant for everyone, there are a few important things to know before booking.
Not a Party Venue
The studio is not suitable for loud parties, heavy drinking events, children’s parties or events that may disturb the neighbouring spaces.
Respect for the Interior
The furniture, lighting, walls and design details should be treated with care. Any decoration or setup changes must be discussed in advance.
Shared Facilities
Guests have access to a shared WC and kitchen. These are shared only with the neighbouring shop and are usually calm, but they must be used respectfully.
Safety Cameras
The studio has safety cameras that record video only. There is no audio recording. Footage is only checked if there is an incident.
Arrival Assistance
Access is handled personally, so arrival feels smooth and welcoming instead of anonymous and complicated.
Technical Setup
The TV has HDMI input. Please bring your own laptop and any special adapters you may need. Adapter compatibility cannot be guaranteed.
Booking Time
Your booking time includes arrival, setup, event time and leaving the space. Please choose a package that gives you enough time for the full event flow.

Can I rent the studio for an event?
Yes. Mine Designs Event Lab is available for workshops, meetings, talks and small creative events.
How many people can fit in the space?
The space is best for small groups. It can be arranged for up to 14 people in a more relaxed setup and up to 18 people in a fuller setup with chairs and benches.
Is the studio suitable for parties?
No. The space is not designed as a party venue. It is suitable for calm, creative and professional gatherings.
Can I visit the space before booking?
Yes. You can book a free visit to see the space and discuss whether it is the right fit for your event.
Are coffee and snacks included?
Yes. Coffee, tea, water and basic snacks are included. Organic filter coffee includes one cup per guest. Unlimited coffee is available as an add on.
Can I add food?
Yes. Optional food add ons such as pastries or pizza can be selected during booking when available.
Can I use the TV for presentations?
Yes. The 55" TV can be used for slides, images, videos and visual material. HDMI input is available.
Do I need to bring my own laptop?
Yes. Please bring your own laptop and make sure it works with HDMI connection. If you need a special adapter, please bring it with you. We can provide adapters but we can't guarantee compatibility.
Is there a whiteboard?
Yes. A magnetic whiteboard with a flip chart is available for workshops, teaching, brainstorming and planning sessions.
Is there fresh air ventilation?
Yes. The room has integrated mechanical ventilation with continuous fresh air supply.
